- The static brain + moving user scheme works fine.
- Major neural structures visualized by streamtubes.
- Sliding slice did help them interpret data.
- Ventricles are helpful context. More brain anatomy, like cortical surface, blood vessels, would be better. ``The more, the better''
- They'd like to see from a craniotomy view. Like the view a neural surgeon would have in a real operation. A piece of skull was removed, and the surgeon looked through the opening.
- Slices in other directions would be helpful.
- Measuring distance between geometric models. For example, the distance between a certain streamtube and the ventricle, or a streamtube and the cortical surface.
- They wanted to zoom in a particular region and examine the detailed visualization there.
- CAVE is better in the sense that it provides a more realistic visualization and interaction. If connected with microrobotic device, it will provide a realistic simulation environment.
- Add the tumor model to the brain visualization.
